The Lesson
How to make money when you don't have money. First, put your intention into the world-clear goals attract resources. Use affirmations; tell yourself and others what you want. The world loves clarity. Build a skill stack of complementary skills-eventually someone pays for that combination. Build systems for health, skills, diet, everything. Network constantly-the more people know your intentions, the more likely someone notices an opportunity for you. Be useful without asking for payment. Reciprocity is powerful. Do something free for someone, and you're first in mind when they have a job opening.
Real-World Example
A founder with no capital starts by being radically clear: 'I'm building a company in AI safety.' They tell everyone. They build skills (writing + technical + speaking). They help people for free-reviewing pitches, making introductions. Six months later, someone they helped says 'I know an investor looking for exactly this.' Clarity + usefulness + networking created the opportunity that money couldn't buy.
